Position Overview

As a Telecommunications Equipment Technician at Ruby Management Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our communication systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
Work Environment

This position involves working in a repair setting where you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections to assess the operation of telecommunications devices.
  • Install, organize, remove, and maintain telephone systems, wiring, and related hardware.
  • Repair or substitute defective telecommunications equipment as necessary.
  • Analyze testing outcomes and make adjustments or repairs to switching systems, networks, and associated software.
  • Complete and maintain detailed service and testing reports.
  • Identify the nature, cause, and location of technical issues.
  • Utilize computerized testing systems to perform service evaluations on customer lines and equipment.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Fast-paced work environment requiring attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Manual dexterity is essential for handling equipment.
