Job Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The technician will operate in a repair-focused setting, ensuring optimal functionality of telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections on telecommunications equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Install, configure, and maintain telephone systems, wiring, and related hardware.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace faulty telecommunications equipment.
  • Analyze test outcomes and make necessary adjustments to switching systems and networks.
  • Document and maintain service and test reports.
  • Identify the nature and location of technical issues.
  • Utilize computerized testing systems to perform service evaluations on customer lines and equipment.
