About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Partner Sales Director to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our Global System Integrator (GSI) partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and increase market share with our GSI partners.
  • Work closely with our marketing, sales engineering, and product management teams to deliver on targets and objectives.
  • Provide a voice of the partner to ensure that our products and services meet the needs of our customers.
  • Lead executive interlocks between partners and our leadership team to drive business growth and alignment.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms with our GSI partners.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models.
  • Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
