Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Holloway Lodging Limited Partnership - Super 8 Fort Nelson. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel's housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our housekeeping department.

Lead and Manage Housekeeping Staff

Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Maintain Safety and Quality Standards

Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to our safety and quality standards, including the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Coordinate Maintenance and Repair Services

Coordinate with our maintenance team to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order and that any necessary repairs are carried out in a timely manner.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Oversee the management of inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock levels to meet the needs of our housekeeping department.

Coordinate Laundry Services

Coordinate the in-house laundry services to ensure that all linens and uniforms are clean and available for use.

Schedule and Assign Duties

Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

Ensure Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations

Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with local health and safety regulations.

Respond to Guest Complaints

Respond promptly and professionally to any guest complaints or concerns regarding our housekeeping services.
