Job Summary:

Mircom Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Quebec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Direct and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales growth and revenue targets.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Team Development: Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the operational aspects of sales, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven Sales Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving business objectives.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of sales professionals.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends, develop business plans, and make informed decisions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with building systems, including fire control and security systems.
