We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating social programs that promote the well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement social programs that address the needs of our community, including education, guidance, counseling, and assessment services.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and social services agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to social program development and delivery.
- Conduct needs assessments, program evaluations, and research to inform social program development and improvement.
- Provide education and training to community members, healthcare professionals, and social services staff on social program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and social services agencies to ensure effective collaboration and coordination of services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCF).
