**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Professional Social Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of our community.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement social programs that promote health, wellness, and social services to our community.
  • Provide guidance, counseling, and support to individuals and families in need.
  • Conduct assessments and analyses to identify community needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to promote social services and health initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community members, organizations, and government agencies to promote social services and health initiatives.
  • Provide training and coaching to community members and staff on social services and health initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in social services and health initiatives.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ).
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience in social work.
  • Knowledge of Cree culture, social/health issues, and Eenou/Eeyou Pimaatsiiun healing practices and paradigms is an asset.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset.
