Social Services Professional

As a Social Services Professional with the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB), you will play a vital role in designing, guiding, and implementing social programs that cater to the needs of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social programs that promote the well-being of our clients;
- Provide guidance and counseling to individuals and families in need;
- Conduct assessments and analyses to identify areas for improvement;
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social services trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work;
- Member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ);
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in social work;
- Knowledge of Cree culture, social/health issues, and Eenou/Eeyou Pimaatsiiun healing practices and paradigms is an asset;
- Fluent in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset.
