Role Overview:

The Human Relations Admin Coordinator will provide essential support to our HR, Supply, Students, Volunteers, Health and Safety, and Administration Teams. This position requires flexibility to travel across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment initiatives for supply staff.
  • Facilitate the selection process for candidates and coordinate interview logistics.
  • Foster connections and relationships within our programs and teams.
  • Adhere to and embody the mission, vision, values, and policies of Compass ELC.
  • Collaborate with the Human Relations team on ongoing projects and participate in team meetings.
  • Support Health and Safety initiatives and maintain related projects.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or HRPA membership is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in conducting interviews, creating job postings, and implementing recruitment strategies.
  • Understanding of the Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and childcare licensing standards.
  • Familiarity with the Employment Standards Act (ESA).
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in administration, systems, and organization.
  • Knowledge of relevant software and technology.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
