Job Title: User Support Technician

KARU CONSULTING is seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
  • Problem-Solving: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Training and Development: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use our systems effectively.
  • Log Management: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, and supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • System Administration: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, and set up equipment for employee use.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
Work Environment:

As a User Support Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. You will be part of a dynamic team that values efficiency, accuracy, and client focus.

Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and strong time management skills.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
