Oxygen Therapy Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a part-time, enthusiastic, and driven Respiratory Therapist/LPN for our operations. Your role will involve educating clients and delivering high-quality healthcare services, including:

  • Conducting comprehensive respiratory evaluations
  • Assessing and interpreting patient test outcomes
  • Distributing necessary equipment and supplies
  • Formulating respiratory therapy treatment strategies in collaboration with physicians and care teams
  • Identifying inconsistencies in respiratory therapy treatments and communicating them to the care team
  • Completing all required documentation to initiate therapy
  • Providing follow-up consultations to clients to assess treatment effectiveness
  • Preparing funding documentation and facilitating payment processes
  • Demonstrating and instructing patients on the use of products and services
  • Contributing to the growth of VitalAire by engaging with medical professionals
Qualifications:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist/LPN
  • Licensed to practice with the provincial regulatory body
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Strong skills in cardio-respiratory assessment
  • Valid driver's license and clear vulnerable persons check
  • Previous experience in the healthcare field is advantageous
  • Willingness to participate in a rotational after-hours on-call schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Google applications, and Android platforms
