Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Director - Wound Care Specialist. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership
    • Lead and deliver exceptional wound care services to patients
    • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, including staff management and patient care coordination
    • Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of healthcare professionals to provide wound care services
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff members to ensure they are meeting clinical and operational standards
  • Patient Care
    • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients requiring wound care services
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategies to grow the patient base
    • Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Clinical Experience
    • 3-5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in a wound care setting
  • Education and Certifications
    • Valid PA/NP license in the state of Texas
    • Up-to-date ACLS certification
    • Wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy certification
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent clinical and leadership skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
