VitalAire empowers patients who have sleep apnea or require home oxygen therapy through ongoing respiratory support and compliance.
VitalAire is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated Clinical Assistant for our Corner Brook branch. The Clinical Assistant facilitates the administrative aspects and offers support in the storefront area as it pertains to CPAP and oxygen therapy in a specific branch location.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Provides support for supervisors, managers, sales and healthcare staff by performing daily office duties.
Provides friendly and helpful service to clients by providing specific information as it pertains to CPAP therapy.
Assists with sales and maintenance of CPAP inventory for the branch.
Jointly books CPAP appointments and follows up for clients at the branch.
Participates in home testing for diagnosis purposes under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary processes and forms, assisting with the cleaning & maintenance of CPAP and oxygen equipment during in-service to clients.
Documents client care services by charting in client records.
Facilitates payment by preparation of funding documents, and maintaining knowledge of funding systems.
Provides after hours service to clients by participating in branch on-call rotation.
Here is what you will need
College Certificate or Diploma in Medical Office Administration or medical background preferred.
1-2 years of experience in general office practice.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office, ERP & Google systems with strong data entry skills and selling skills.
