About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrator to join our Deposit Operations team at Equitable Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to the Manager, Deposit Operations and assist with the day-to-day management of the administrative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to administrators, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Assist with the review of various daily exception, audit, and government reports to ensure compliance with established policy and procedures.
  • Participate in the preparation of various analytics and reporting, including yearend tax filings and submission to CRA.
  • Assist with the daily reconciliation of various recs or suspense accounts and government reporting.
  • Engage with the department staff on a regular basis, providing leadership, guidance, and motivation to maintain a strong department rapport and positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Deposit Industry.
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Strong leadership and commitment to outstanding Customer Service.
  • Sound knowledge of the deposit services industry, internal banking platforms, and other transactional systems.
  • Ability to motivate and engage people in a rapid growth environment.
  • Robust problem-solving and process improvement abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations affecting the business, including Privacy (PIPEDA), Deposit Type Instruments Regulations (DTIR), CDIC, CRA reporting, FCAC complaint handling, pension, and registered plan regulations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or within group or team environments.
  • Very strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage deadlines, be detail-driven, and have the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Word & Excel).
  • Proven ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and perform well in a high-volume, high-intensity environment.
