The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation has been a champion for educators and a proponent of high-quality public education for over 80 years.

This role is about making a meaningful contribution to the quality of public education through your professional expertise. It involves delivering outstanding programs and services that bolster Saskatchewan educators and their profession.

Key Responsibilities:
Senior administrative coordinators execute the mission of the organization as outlined in The Teachers' Federation Act, 2006.
They provide guidance, assistance, and support to members, educational staff, and local associations; and engage in policy and program formulation.
Moreover, senior administrative coordinators are involved in local and provincial collective bargaining, ensuring that educators' rights are upheld through fair working conditions, professional respect, and equitable remuneration.
These professionals possess a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape, informed by diverse experiences and viewpoints, enabling them to operate effectively in any program area.
These roles are highly responsible and demanding within the Federation and the educational community, requiring regular travel within the province as well as some evening and weekend commitments.
Senior administrative coordinators work from the STF office in Saskatoon, with staff present in the office full time, except when supporting educators or attending meetings in various locations.
A blend of practical experience in governance, through involvement in a local association or as a councilor; local-level bargaining; and facilitation of professional development are advantageous assets.
Completion or a commitment to complete a Master's degree in a relevant field is a prerequisite. Proficiency in the French language would be beneficial.
Continued participation in the Saskatchewan Teachers' Retirement Plan is also expected.
