- Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing visitors to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
- Process information required to provide customer service, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Operate the switchboard or telephone system, handling incoming and outgoing calls.
- Perform clerical duties, such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments, as well as maintaining work records and logs.
- Provide support for newcomers and refugees, assisting with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and childcare.
- Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process.
- College/CEGEP education.
- Experience an asset.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, database software, and electronic mail.
