Job Summary

Lacombe bar and Steakhouse is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and service.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
Work Environment

Lacombe bar and Steakhouse is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional service and quality food to our customers. As a member of our team, you will be expected to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.

Language

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
