Your Role:

  • Oversee a team in a dynamic, fast-paced setting that significantly influences front-line healthcare operations.
  • Act as the Scheduler Team Lead (STL), providing expertise in managing office operations.
  • Assist Unit Managers, Charge Nurses, and Relief Team Managers with effective scheduling solutions.
  • Employ strong communication and analytical skills to resolve scheduling challenges.
  • Proactively assess staffing requirements and engage with client groups for effective communication.
  • Guide colleagues and foster a supportive work atmosphere.
  • Help in reviewing timecards, analyzing administrative reports, and rectifying payroll discrepancies.
  • Support SSC operational hours: 0530 to 2330.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Administrative Coordinator, you will leverage advanced administrative capabilities to facilitate intricate processes within the department.

Essential Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (certificate in office or business administration).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ESP and familiarity with AHS Centralized ESP Staffing Service Centre.
  • Proficiency in timekeeping and payroll processing within ESP.
  • Experience in a Call Centre environment with demonstrated coaching and mentoring abilities.
  • Background in a unionized, healthcare, and 24/7 operational context.
  • Understanding of relevant collective agreements.
