Your Opportunity:

Alberta Health Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to take on the role of a Full-Time Administrative Support III (ASIII). This temporary position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our Addiction and Mental Health Adult Community Services. The ASIII will be responsible for welcoming and registering clients both in-person and via telephone, managing program referrals, and scheduling appointments for services.

The ASIII plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration among team members, other Addiction and Mental Health programs, and various AHS and non-AHS initiatives to enhance client care. As a primary contact for community members and potential clients, the ASIII will work under the supervision of the program manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting clients.
  • Manage and coordinate program referrals and client bookings.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support client needs.
  • Maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have a minimum of three months of recent experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in roles involving reception, scheduling, and clerical tasks.
