Your Opportunity:
Alberta Health Services is seeking a dedicated and proficient individual to take on the role of a Senior Administrative Coordinator (SAC). In this temporary position, you will play a crucial role in the Lethbridge Addiction and Mental Health Adult Community Services team. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming and registering clients both in person and via telephone. The SAC will oversee program referrals and coordinate client appointments for services.
The SAC will collaborate effectively with team members, various Addiction and Mental Health programs, and other AHS and non-AHS services to ensure seamless support for our clients' ongoing care. As a vital point of contact for community members and potential clients, the SAC will work under the supervision of the program manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client interactions and registrations.
- Coordinate referrals and service bookings.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the program manager in administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of addiction and mental health services, demonstrate strong teamwork abilities, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders. The SAC should thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and exhibit patience in all interactions.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of three months of recent experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in reception, scheduling, and administrative duties, is preferred.
