Director of Technology

BlackBerry QNX is a leading provider of safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, frameworks, and development tools. We are seeking a Director of Technology to lead the definition and management of our new, next-generation cloud-enabled products.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a cloud product management team and work with colleagues to define and execute our strategic BlackBerry QNX cloud enablement roadmap.
- Manage the BlackBerry QNX cloud product portfolio from concept to general availability, participating and leading cross-functional initiatives as required.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and other groups to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program.
- Significant product management experience related to Automotive electronic systems and/or other mission-critical embedded devices.
- Product management experience related to Cloud (AWS, GPC, or Azure) products and services.
- Experience leading a product management team.
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, finance, and marketing.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting to C-Suite and technical subject matter experts across an organization.
- Strong technical background to engage with automotive and general embedded customers.
- Knowledge of embedded OS, Hypervisor, and Development tools software and related functional safety standards.
