Job Description

Job Title: Director of Technology and Facilities

Job Summary:

The Mental Health Commission of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Technology and Facilities to oversee the development, implementation, and use of technology throughout the organization. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the organization's facilities, including office space, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT and facilities professionals to ensure the effective delivery of services.
  • Budget Management: Manage the IT and facilities budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate IT and facilities-related risks to ensure business continuity.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in IT and facilities management, with a strong background in leadership and strategic planning.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
