Procurement Specialist

Woodstock Grocers is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Clerk to join our team. As a Procurement Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement and Inventory Management: Coordinate with suppliers to obtain price quotations, prepare and process purchase orders, and manage inventory levels.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile physical inventories with computer counts, and maintain accurate records.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, Canada Customs, and other stakeholders to resolve delivery and other problems.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform routine clerical duties, prepare requisition orders, and maintain purchasing files and records.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, MS Windows, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
