Procurement Specialist

Woodstock Grocers is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Clerk to join our team. As a Procurement Clerk, you will be responsible for managing inventory, processing purchases, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, verify stock availability, and reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.
- Purchase Processing: Process requisition orders, prepare purchase orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
- Record Keeping: Record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using a computerized or manual inventory system.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Liaise with Canada Customs, maintain stock rotation, and monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, MS Windows, and attention to detail.
