Procurement Specialist

Woodstock Grocers is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Clerk to join our team. As a Procurement Clerk, you will be responsible for managing inventory, processing purchases, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Verify stock availability, reconcile physical inventories with computer counts, and maintain stock rotation.
- Purchase Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders, obtain price quotations from suppliers, and review requisition orders for accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using a computerized or manual inventory system.
- Customer Service: Provide information on available materials and resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, MS Windows, and attention to detail.
