Strategic Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Elby Professional Recruitment Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Proactively engage with new and existing customers to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to assess leads and develop effective business solutions.
- Account Management: Offer expert advice and support to customers, providing effective and efficient solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
- Pricing and Margin Analysis: Prepare pricing agreements for customers and perform sales margin analysis to ensure optimal profitability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the inside sales and customer service teams to effectively manage customer issues and provide seamless support.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to promote our products and services.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of outside B2B sales experience in a technical environment.
- Technical Competencies: Strong math and technical competencies, with the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Sales Approach: Proven customer-focused sales approach and ability to build effective business relationships across any level within an organization.
- Communication and Time Management: Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the ability to work well independently or in a team setting.
- Travel: This position requires up to 50% travel across Canada and USA.
