Position: Quality Assurance Lead

Status: Full-Time Hourly (4 hours)

Location: Washington, DC

Hours: 5 days per week, from 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch)

*Excellent English proficiency and telephone communication skills, with strong written and verbal abilities*

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and uphold a process for assessing software and related documentation. Identify the resources necessary for quality assurance. Ensure quality is maintained throughout the software development life cycle. Conduct formal and informal evaluations at designated stages of the development process. Provide daily oversight and guidance to support personnel. A BS/BA degree (or equivalent) along with approximately 8 years of experience in a relevant field is required.

  • Proficient in greeting and engaging with individuals in a courteous and tactful manner.
  • Skilled in using computers and printers to generate a variety of documents.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Friendly and personable with excellent telephone etiquette.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops, computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, in both home and in-person office settings.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds.
  • This position is generally performed in a professional office environment; 70% sitting, 20% standing, and 10% walking.
