This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality in broadcast graphics, contributing to the success of live broadcasts by delivering accurate and visually appealing graphics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate all QA activities within cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and graphic operators.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for templates and scenes in broadcast graphics workflows.
Agile Workflow:
  • Collaborate closely with Agile teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes within sprints.
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Broadcast Graphics Systems Expertise:
  • Conduct thorough testing of broadcast graphics systems, including Vizrt and Ross Expression.
  • Verify the correctness and timeliness of data used in graphics.
End-to-End Pipeline Testing:
  • Test the entire graphics pipeline from external data sources through to templates and scenes.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance across the entire workflow.
Quality Assurance:
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Work closely with designers to understand creative requirements and ensure they are met in the final output.
  • Coordinate with graphic operators to ensure smooth operation during live broadcasts.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in QA within broadcast graphics workflows.
  • Proficiency with Vizrt, Ross Expression, and other broadcast graphics systems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Ability to lead and mentor QA team members.
