Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves the development of test scenarios and the execution of automated testing utilizing Selenium.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough requirement and scope analysis.
  • Identify, design, and implement high-quality automated test cases that are reusable for strategic systems.
  • Oversee existing test suites and ensure they are functional and current.
  • Prepare comprehensive test matrices and both simple and complex reports for various team meetings, including management discussions.
  • Draft essential documentation (such as Test Strategy) in alignment with company standards, processes, and procedures for various testing stages including SIT, UAT, and PIT.
  • Create and maintain testing and test automation documentation, including user lists, environments, and test data.
  • Provide mentorship in various aspects of QA and test automation practices, fostering team collaboration.
  • Offer technical guidance and maintain a cooperative relationship with project leads and other internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks regarding project timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance professionals, and other project team members, facilitating discussions and meetings related to test automation.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
  • Proven experience in automated testing using Selenium (Java).
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
