Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Just Jerk Caribbean restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment with a focus on Caribbean cuisine.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
