Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Just Jerk Caribbean Restaurant is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment:

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment
  • Language: English or French
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
