About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Just Jerk Caribbean Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
    • Train and develop staff in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, meeting our quality control requirements.
    • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory and Supplies
    • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have adequate stock levels.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Stand for extended periods, bending, crouching, and walking as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English or French.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
