Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead and execute global sourcing and procurement efforts within a defined set of categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining category strategies, executing strategic sourcing initiatives, and driving year-over-year reductions in total costs of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute category strategies to achieve significant cost savings while maintaining or improving supplier quality and service levels.
- Lead and execute global sourcing and procurement efforts within assigned categories, including supply market analysis, total cost of ownership analysis, competitive negotiations, and contracting.
- Drive year-over-year reductions in total costs of goods and services, while maintaining or improving supplier quality and service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement policies, processes, and tools that ensure a world-class procurement function.
- Measure and track internal performance, including savings tracking and methodology across all categories.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of procurement experience, with a proven track record of driving cost savings and improving supplier quality and service levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Project.
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification preferred.
