About the Role

TransUnion LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Consultant to join our International Strategy and Planning (S&P) Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing TransUnion's enterprise and international strategy, facilitating the planning cycle, and supporting M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic insights based on market assessments grounded in primary and secondary research, and translate these insights to inform buy/build/partner market-entry and market-expansion options.
  • Support analysis, modeling, and select components for key initiatives, including acquisitions and strategic investments.
  • Build content to support a variety of Strategy and Planning process components, including:
    • Market research and analysis reports.
    • Business case development and presentation.
    • Strategic planning and implementation.
  • Monitor and assess key trends and developments in TransUnion's industry, and partner with internal stakeholders to draw conclusions and recommendations.
  • Other efforts as determined by leadership in Strategy & Planning.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience with a strong record of accomplishment in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or other transaction-advisory services firms.
  • Post-graduate education.
  • Experience in information services, financial services, insurance, or digital industries, preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to assimilate and understand new concepts in short time frames.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions and levels of seniority.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Highly organized, excellent project management abilities.
  • Advanced fluency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
