About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at JBTL Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our procurement department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Planning and Control

Develop and implement effective budgeting and cost control strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize expenses.

Staff Management

Lead and motivate a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.

Purchasing Policy Development

Design and implement purchasing policies and procedures that align with company objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Supplier Evaluation and Management

Oversee the evaluation and selection of suppliers, ensuring that goods and services meet quality and cost standards.

Contract Management

Develop and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable to the company.

Claims Processing

Review and process claims against suppliers, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform procurement decisions and provide regular reports to senior management.

Senior Management Support

Provide strategic advice and support to senior management on procurement-related matters.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.

Personal Qualities

Dependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and a team player.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and a large workload. The work language is English.
