Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Join Green Bell Landscaping as a Landscaping Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing construction projects, and supervising a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure our outdoor spaces look their best.
  • Organize and Direct Construction Projects: Oversee the construction of decks, walls, and other landscape features, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Supervise a Team: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and track work progress, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment: Order and manage the procurement of necessary materials and equipment to support our projects.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues and provide expert guidance to team members and clients.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Proficient in operating backhoes, chain saws, front-end loaders, pick-up trucks, small engine equipment, sod cutters, tractors, and tractor mowers.
  • Area of Specialization: Interior landscaping, lawn care, tree service, grounds maintenance, design, and landscape construction.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
