Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and other green areas. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Planting and Maintenance: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Schedule work and plan grounds maintenance activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Labour and Materials Management: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for projects, and requisition or order supplies as needed.
  • Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate records and logs of work completed, including hours worked and materials used.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and establish work schedules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
