Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at COREPRO LANDSCAPING. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to company standards.
  • Supervise and schedule staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective work processes.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Resolve work problems by providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers, ensuring the health and well-being of plants and staff.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Tender and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Read blueprints and drawings, interpreting plans and specifications to inform decision-making.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in outdoor conditions.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic outdoor environment, with regular exposure to the elements. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language and Work Conditions

The primary language of work is English, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with regular exposure to heavy loads and outdoor conditions.
