JOB OVERVIEW:

As a key member of the Indoor Operations team, you will oversee the Food and Beverage staff to deliver an outstanding culinary experience for our guests. The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high service standards, ensuring efficient and timely service, managing costs, promoting sustainability practices, and collaborating with other departments to achieve overall resort success.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the recruitment and training of Front of House personnel.
  • Schedule and supervise all Front of House staff, providing coaching and mentorship.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of front of house supplies to align with business demands.
  • Work closely with management to set pricing strategies that support profitability goals.
  • Address customer feedback and resolve any internal staff conflicts.
  • Ensure timely food service and act as an expeditor when necessary to facilitate order delivery.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations throughout the operation.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers regarding any service delays.
  • Oversee daily opening and closing procedures to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Foster positive and professional communication between Front of House and Back of House teams.
  • Support the Bar team in delivering exceptional service to all guests.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all lodge areas.
  • Monitor department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to help achieve organizational objectives.
  • Deliver a memorable and positive guest experience.
  • Review and update departmental manuals and employee handbooks to enhance safety culture.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certificate in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business is preferred.
  • Food & Beverage Serving it Right certification.
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the food & beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with Google Workplace is advantageous.
  • Strong team player with excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Must be of legal age to work in licensed areas.
  • Experience with computers and cash handling.
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends and holidays as needed.
