About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Pita Pit. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
    • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
    • Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs
    • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
    • Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Financial Management
    • Manage inventory and control costs to ensure profitability
    • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best possible prices
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans to increase sales and customer engagement
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Safe Food Handling certificate
    • Food Safety Certificate
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly. The Restaurant Manager will also be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
