Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at J.F.N. Ent Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
- Manage Budget and Finances: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and manage finances to ensure that the food service establishment is operating within budget.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment, coffee shop.
- Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff in job duties, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, address customers' complaints or concerns, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Supervision: 5-10 people, food service counter attendants and food preparers.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.
