Position Overview
Blyth Academy is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Educators for the upcoming summer term. The focus will be on teaching Math, Science, and English, adhering to the Ontario Secondary School curriculum at our Toronto location. Candidates with experience in teaching intermediate and senior levels are highly regarded.
Although many of our educators possess OCT certification, we encourage qualified professionals from diverse educational backgrounds to consider this opportunity.

Blyth Academy stands as the largest private educational institution by enrollment in Ontario, featuring campuses throughout the province. We provide a comprehensive educational program for students in grades 5-12, which includes full-time, part-time, private, semi-private, night & weekend, summer school, and online courses.
Our primary mission is to elevate academic performance, preparing all students for university and future endeavors. At Blyth Academy, we customize the curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student, taking into account their individual learning styles and extracurricular commitments.
Blyth Academy adheres to the curriculum expectations established by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Building upon this academic foundation, we integrate student interests and experiential learning activities both inside and outside the classroom, coupled with a compassionate approach to education. We have developed strategies to incorporate literacy and numeracy across the curriculum, supporting the provincial initiative to enhance student achievement in these essential skills. Our classrooms utilize research-based inquiry and decision-making methods to foster student success in these critical areas.
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain small class sizes with an average of 8 students to promote engagement and interaction, while minimizing administrative tasks such as report cards and grading.
- Deliver instruction during the summer term.
- Focus on fostering academic success with strong support from parents.
- Enjoy the freedom to develop your own teaching methods and style.
- Collaborate with supportive colleagues and leadership.
- Have the flexibility to teach across various programs including part-time, private, night school, summer school, and online formats.
- Work in boutique campuses, each offering a distinct atmosphere and learning environment.
