Job Title: Summer Internship I
Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic students to join our Summer Internship I program. This 10-12 week program, running from May to August, provides an opportunity for current freshman and sophomore students to gain hands-on experience in their degree interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in various departments, including farming, operations, and other areas
- Gain experience in team and independent tasks
- Develop problem-solving skills and apply educational knowledge
- Build and leverage soft skills in support of professional development
Internship Opportunities
We offer internships in the following areas:
- Farming: General, Agronomy, Organics, Quality, Food Safety, Innovation
- Operations: General, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Packaging, Purchasing, Transportation and Logistics, Construction and Engineering, Equipment Maintenance
- Other: Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources, Safety, IT, Corporate Communication
Requirements
- Actively enrolled full-time college student
- Full-time status is 12 or more credit hours
- Must have a freshman/sophomore classification
- Qualified to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needed
Physical Requirements
Varying by position, may include the ability to frequently move about inside the office, food processing facilities, and/or farming fields. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. Occasionally, must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout much of the working day. Ability to work outdoors. Must be able to work in different temperatures, ranging between 30° F and 110° F. Ability to inspect equipment and product. Must be able to work in a high noise area.
