Compensation: $85,000 – 95,000 CAD annually

Responsibilities Include:

Assessing technical data to deliver effective solutions for clients' sealing needs, including product and material recommendations; Diagnosing user issues with sealing products and systems, offering solutions or alternative products; Conducting evaluations of failed seals and providing comprehensive failure analysis reports with application suggestions; Leading root cause analysis on warranty claims and managing warranty response initiatives. Supporting the promotion, sale, and servicing of products in alignment with company goals and customer requirements. Preparing technical proposals, reviewing purchase orders, and collaborating with planning and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Coordinating project management tasks, including liaising with suppliers and subsidiaries to meet product requirements. Assisting the sales team with reverse engineering tasks to identify equivalent Freudenberg products. Managing product data entry in SAP and maintaining master data integrity. Creating cost sheets for new products considering various factors. Developing and reviewing technical documentation and maintenance manuals as necessary. Collaborating with other departments to prepare quality assurance documentation for orders. Keeping records of quality documents submitted to clients for traceability. Coordinating projects and associated tasks for key clients and international projects as directed by management. Troubleshooting products and systems as needed, documenting findings and recommendations. Developing and maintaining sales tools, including surveys, reference materials, and technical guidelines; Maintaining product data and master lists within SAP systems; Conducting training sessions and product presentations for colleagues and clients.

Required Qualifications:

7-10 years of experience in the mechanical seal sector. Proven experience in providing technical sales support within the mechanical seal industry, including assembly and fitment. 4 years of experience with CAD software for technical drawing and design. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and conducting root cause analysis for product failures. Familiarity with API 682 standards related to mechanical seal design and application. Experience with SAP modules. In-depth knowledge of mechanical seal supply systems and their applications. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively. Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
