Compensation: $85,000 – 95,000 CAD annually

Responsibilities Include:

Assessing technical specifications to deliver suitable solutions for clients' sealing needs, including product and material recommendations; Diagnosing end-user challenges with sealing products and systems, offering solutions or alternative products; Conducting evaluations of failed seals and generating comprehensive failure analysis reports with application insights; Performing Root Cause Analysis on warranty claims and leading response initiatives. Supporting the promotion, sale, and servicing of products in alignment with company goals and customer requirements. Preparing technical proposals, reviewing purchase orders, and collaborating with planning and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Managing project coordination, including liaising with suppliers and providing necessary information to meet product requirements. Assisting the sales team in identifying equivalent Freudenberg products during customer visits or sample evaluations. Creating part lists, entering and maintaining product data in SAP systems. Developing cost sheets for new products, considering various cost factors. Drafting and reviewing technical drawings and operational manuals as needed. Collaborating with other departments to prepare quality documentation for orders. Keeping records of quality documents submitted to clients for traceability. Coordinating projects and associated tasks for strategic clients as assigned. Troubleshooting products and systems as necessary, documenting findings and recommendations. Developing and maintaining sales tools, including surveys, reference materials, presentations, and technical guidelines; Maintaining product data and master lists within EB SAP systems; Conducting training sessions and product presentations for colleagues and clients.

Required Qualifications:

7-10 years of experience in the mechanical seal sector. Proven experience in providing technical sales support within the mechanical seal industry. 4 years of experience in technical drawing using CAD software, including Solid Edge and Cadra. Familiarity with technical drawing interpretation and root cause analysis for product failures. Knowledge of API 682 standards regarding mechanical seal design and application parameters. Experience with SAP modules. Strong understanding of mechanical seal supply systems and their operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
