Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in translating business needs into systems solutions, providing administrative support for enterprise business systems, and acting as a liaison between business units and IT groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for enterprise business systems, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP)
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT groups
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Take part in implementations or improvement opportunities
  • Consult with business partners on how to efficiently utilize technology
  • Participate in the evaluation, analysis, and planning of business needs and risks
  • Articulate and clearly document business and system requirements
  • Application testing, including organizing user testing sessions; creating detailed test plans and test cases; conducting testing; Interacting with vendors who may provide consulting, training, and support for enterprise applications
  • Lead or take part in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones
Requirements
  • A college graduate with a 4-year degree
  • Possessing 3+ years of relevant experience in a business or IT role, with 1+ year of experience as a business system analyst
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and reacting quickly
  • Able to provide business analysis, application support, and assistance to business users in identifying and evaluating new systems and procedures
  • An effective communicator, able to explain technical concepts in simple terms
  • Comfortable working with collaboration platforms, such as Microsoft 365
  • Able to work onsite at one of our facilities in Chattanooga, TN (USA) or Halifax, NS (Canada)
  • Experience with ERP, HRIS, and CRM applications/solutions
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions
  • Experience supporting or using
  • Experience with SQL, query tools, and/or reporting and analytics
  • Experience with Data Governance and Data Management
  • Project Management experience or certification
  • A bachelor's or graduate degree in Business or Information Systems; or comparable business experience
