At All Nations Coordinated Response Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Safe Rides Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

The Safe Rides Coordinator will play a critical role in our three-year pilot program designed to improve the response to missing/absent children and youth in care. You will be responsible for triaging calls from children/youth, CFS workers, parents, and other service providers to determine the best course of action for safe return to placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor all communications and track the whereabouts of the team to ensure the safety of team members and children/youth.
  • Triage calls to determine if they need to be forwarded to police, ANCR After Hours Program, or dispatched to the Safe Ride team.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, making sound decisions and solving complex problems.
  • Maintain accurate records, including data entry and report generation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-cultural stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Certificate in Child & Youth Care or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum three years of front-line experience, including outreach services.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle with $2,000,000 liability insurance.
  • Emergency First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training an asset.
