Collections Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Supervisor to join our team at CB Canada. As a Collections Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the collections team and managing collections for a portfolio of accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the collections team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Collections Management: Manage collections for a portfolio of accounts, including evaluating delinquent accounts and applying credit holds where applicable.
- Performance Monitoring: Set targets and calculate results for applicable collector incentive plans, ensuring the team is meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
- Customer Interaction: Review and monitor employee interactions with customers to ensure all policies and regulations are adhered to.
- Cash Flow Optimization: Work closely with operational and functional stakeholders to improve cash flow KPIs, ensuring the team is meeting or exceeding cash flow targets.
- Reporting and Analysis: Run weekly reports and analysis on key KPIs, including cash received, AR balance, and collection status, to inform business decisions.
- Provision for Bad Debts: Provide month-end Provision for Bad Debts (PBD) report and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Procedural Documentation: Develop and maintain up-to-date procedural documentation related to collections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Decision Making and Problem Solving: Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making/problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar supervisory role within collections/credit, with a proven track record of success.
- Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems and demonstrated knowledge of reporting and analysis.
- Team Player: Possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and synergize with team members.
