Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing HVAC retrofit and construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans and specifications for HVAC retrofit and construction projects.
- Bid on new and existing projects in the HVAC industry, ensuring accurate estimates and proposals.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to develop and present thermal system solutions to prospective customers.
- Assume project management responsibilities, providing functional leadership and technical support to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Attend site project meetings and coordinate project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor job costing and profitability to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Work closely with the service team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Provide operation and maintenance manuals to customers as required.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in HVAC or building systems.
- Knowledge of natural gas, propane, and oil is considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Highly disciplined, independent, and entrepreneurial, with a strong ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to travel to job sites as required.
