We are seeking a proactive and meticulous HR Specialist who excels in a dynamic environment to enhance our Human Resources department.

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Specialist will support the team with onboarding processes, compensation management, employee relations, performance evaluation, and delivering outstanding service to both internal and external partners.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday (on-site)

Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:


• Manage all HR administrative tasks and respond to HR-related inquiries.


• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards to maintain a secure workplace.


• Assist managers and staff in the timely and accurate completion of necessary documentation.


• Oversee the creation, review, and upkeep of employment-related documents.


• Implement and uphold HR best practices across the organization.


• Address employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.


• Facilitate the onboarding process, including orientation sessions.


• Collaborate with management to resolve HR-related challenges and initiatives.


• Maintain precise employee records and HR databases.


• Work alongside the HR Manager to identify opportunities for enhancing HR initiatives, processes, and programs.


• Revise HR policies and procedures as necessary.


• Conduct research and analysis on competitive compensation practices.


• Support ongoing HR projects and initiatives.


• Stay informed on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years in an HR Administrator role or higher.


• Strong understanding of applicable employment and human rights legislation, along with HR best practices.


• Proven ability to influence and lead people effectively.


• Experience managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.


• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various HRIS platforms.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.


• Positive and proactive approach to work.


• CPHR designation is considered an asset.
